What we look at

Two questions, one scan

Getting found used to mean one thing: rank on Google. Now there are two front doors — the search results, and the AI answers written on top of them. They read your site differently, so we grade both.

Search readiness Google

The on-page fundamentals that decide whether Google can crawl, understand, and rank you.

  • Title, meta description & headings
  • Canonical, mobile viewport & HTTPS
  • robots.txt, XML sitemap & image alt text
  • Open Graph, Twitter cards & structured data

AI visibility ChatGPT · Perplexity · Gemini

Whether AI answer engines can reach your content — and trust it enough to cite you.

  • llms.txt — your curated map for LLMs
  • AI crawler access (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended)
  • Entity & organization schema
  • FAQ / answer schema and real, readable content
Questions

Before you run it

Is it really free — and do I have to sign up?

Yes, free. You see both grades and your pass / warning / issue counts with no sign-up. You only enter an email if you want the full breakdown — every check, what we found, and how to fix it — sent to your inbox.

Why two grades instead of one?

Because being found now takes two different things. “Search” grades the on-page SEO fundamentals Google needs to rank you. “AI visibility” grades whether AI answer engines — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini — can actually crawl, understand, and cite your site. A site can ace one and fail the other.

What does the scan actually check?

It scans up to 10 key pages of your site — found via your sitemap and homepage links — plus your robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt. On the search side, per page: title, meta description, headings, canonical, mobile viewport, image alt text, Open Graph and structured data (plus site-wide HTTPS, sitemap and robots). On the AI side: llms.txt, whether AI crawlers are allowed, entity and FAQ schema, and whether there’s real readable content for AI to quote.

What is llms.txt and why does it matter?

It’s an emerging standard — a plain-text file that gives large language models a curated map of your most important content. Almost no site has one yet, which is exactly why it’s an easy edge: it helps AI engines find and cite the right pages instead of guessing.

Is scanning 10 pages enough?

It’s a fast, honest snapshot across your key pages — enough to surface the patterns that usually hold a whole site back. A full crawl checks every page and tracks fixes over time. That deeper work is what we do for clients.
